Welcome to the Labor and Employment Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan
Our Section is dedicated to providing relevant and timely education, updates, and balanced analysis about relevant legal issues through meetings, seminars, webinars, and publication of the Section newsletter, social media engagement, and quarterly Lawnotes, and promoting professional networking opportunities through various programming and events.
We serve a diverse community of over 2,000 members, including attorneys representing management, unions, employees, and public interests; attorneys and non-attorneys serving as neutrals; paralegals, human resources professionals and students. Our mission is to foster professional growth and collegiality in all sectors of the legal field. To that end we offer:
